A manufacturer of cushions for over 30 years for high quality exclusive brands of outdoor furniture has an immediate vacancy for a highly skilled machinist.
Machining a wide variety of high quality fabrics (e.g. Sunbrella) including customers’ own material for bespoke cushions – scatters / seat pads / back cushions etc.
Ensuring all patterns are matched with boxing / trims and finishing touches completed to the highest standard.
Overlocking and occasional quilting.
Working alongside the other cutting room staff discussing new patterns / fabric layout etc.
To occasionally plastic wrap cushions ready for delivery.
This is a permanent position but offering flexible hours Monday to Friday. Generous holiday (subject to working hours) and a parking permit. Salary dependent on experience.

A vacancy exists for a first-class upholsterer capable of undertaking antique, traditional and contemporary work. We prefer that the applicant can undertake any job through all stages including cutting and sewing cover, cushions and valances. High standards with coil sprung seats and stuffed and stitched work are essential.
