RETIRED/STUDENT MEMBERSHIP OF THE AMUSF
If you are a retired member of the AMUSF or the Chair Frame Makers Association or a student on an AMUSF recognised course, we invite you to join or indeed rejoin us.
Each member will receive the following benefits:
• You are invited to take part at your local branch regional network meeting where we would like your input.
• Each member will receive the bi-monthly journal Upholsterer & Soft Furnisher which contains news and views of Upholsterers, Soft Furnishers and Chair Makers.
• In addition you will have the opportunity to submit your own input to the journal.
• You will automatically be sent the annual wall planner.
• Members are invited to attend the Ordinary General Meeting, where you will be able to join in the discussions and vote on matters arising. You may also attend the Annual General Meeting but may not vote.
• Opportunities to attend Dinner & Dances at various branches & social events & conferences.
• Use of the Group Buying Scheme based at head office, subject to a maximum of £1000 per annum, per member.
• Assistance with domain name registration and design at special AMUSF rates.
• Dedicated and reliable advice on the current Furniture Furnishings (Fire)(Safety) Regulations 1988.
• Access to the extensive AMUSF information library
• Expenses paid when attending exhibitions and craft shows as a volunteer, demonstrating Upholstery, Soft Furnishing, Woodwork or Antique Restoration for the AMUSF.
All of the above for Only £50 per year inclusive of VAT
For an additional fee of £30 per year you can also take membership of the New Cavendish Club in West London, giving you use of their facilities and discounts on overnight accommodation and private meeting room hire.
Please note that as a Retired or Student Member, you will not be allowed to use the AMUSF Crest/Logo on any of your signage, stationary, websites, advertising or promotional material in any form.
