The British School of Upholstered Furniture opens its doors to their first students this October 2017.
Set in the South Oxford countryside just outside Henley on Thames in a fully converted barn.
Principal tutors Gregory Cupitt-Jones and Gareth Rees aim to offer the highest level of tuition and experience available in upholstery training in the UK.
We will be accepting registrations for the Association of Master Upholsterers and Soft Furnishers diploma programme levels 1,2 and 3 to start Oct 2017. Students on the old syllabus who would like to complete their level 3 conversion are also welcome.
In addition to the AMUSF diploma we will be offering standalone independent short courses and a series of academic lectures on upholstery, associated crafts and the decorative arts. These will be led by respected experts in their fields.
