As well as the complete re-upholstery and re-finishing of furniture, another important service we can offer is for ongoing repairs and restoration on any item of furniture or fittings. Whether on domestic or commercial furniture, we can carry out numerous types of large and small repairs, either in our workshop or on our customers premises where appropriate.

| This Mahogany display cabinet came to us with a few parts missing, namely one leg and a couple of pieces of beading from the doors and base, the top also required a new veneer. |
| After being dismantled, the top was veneered, the linings inside replaced, and the missing pieces replaced and refitted. |
| After re-assembling the cabinet, all that was needed was a few coats of French polish, returning to it's owner, and the jobs done. |

| One of our unusual items, the Walnut dashboard of an old Jaguar car, with peeling, cracked and missing Veneer. |
| After being re-glued, stabilised, the missing areas and cracks filled, the grain matched to the original then re-lacquered. The dashboard then looked as good as the day it came off the production line. |

| A French Bergere suite, the sofa of which needed re-caning in the back and arm panels. |
| The sofa's panels were then re-stained to match the chairs the framework on the whole suite polished. The suite was then re-upholstered and re-covered in it's original style. |

| A Victorian Bureau, which was rescued from a barn, in need of a good clean and French polish after many years of storage. |
| The finished item with new brassware all round. On this bureau, none of the original polish was stripped off, but the top coats were removed, taking the dirt and grime with it. Then the layers of polish were again built up, thus retaining the original patina and preventing the end result looking too "new". |
