In the afternoon, we will be holding our OGM and AGM to which all members are invited. The OGM, followed by the AGM, will commence at 2:00pm and we expect to conclude by 4:00pm followed by a break for refreshments.
At 4:30pm we will have a series of presentations followed by an open forum for questions etc. Guest speakers confirmed include Hannah Stanton and Jude Dennis from Second Sitters and Rebecca Day of ‘Merrick and Day’.
In the evening, there will be a celebratory Dinner at the Hotel. Reception from 7:00pm with dinner at 8:00pm giving a chance to renew old acquaintances from the Association but hopefully making many more new friends for the future.
Dinner, including wine is £55 per person.
The presentations and dinner are open to all members, associates, students and their guests. Feel free to come along to either, or both, but if you wish to attend the dinner you must book with us first before Thursday 31st August.
Accommodation is available at the hotel for the Friday night but if you wish to stay you must book direct with them stating that you are attending the AMUSF function to secure a discounted room rate of £86 per double room. All guests are responsible for settling their own accounts directly with the hotel.
We hope that you can join us for all, or part of the day’s, celebrations and learn more of what the AMUSF is doing to secure its next 70 years.
